NBC will continue to tell the story of Charles Manson.
The network on Thursday renewed 1960s drama Aquarius for a second season.
The drama stars David Duchovny. It was the first broadcast series to be streamed in its entirety following its debut.
NBC Entertainment president Jennifer Salke said,”With its riveting drama and innovative release strategy, Aquarius has excited the critics, hooked millions of viewers and energized our summer.” Showrunner John McNamara told The Hollywood Reporter ahead of its premiere that he envisioned the drama running for six seasons.
