Netflix has canceled Lilyhammer after three seasons.
The Steven Van Zandt drama’s third season — which bowed in November on the streaming service — will be its last, Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos confirmed Tuesday at the Television Critics Association’s summer press tour, saying “We’re not going to continue with Lilyhammer, it’s become a very economically-challenged deal because there’s a partnership with the Norwegian broadcaster.”
The series joins The Killing and Hemlock Grove in Netflix’s small canceled series category.
