The cover for Del Rey’s first Journey to Star Wars: The Force Awakens novel has been revealed, along with some plot details. Star Wars Aftermath may take place following the events of Return of the Jedi , but as the cover tagline suggests, “The War is Not Over.” Author Chuck Wendig’s attention will be given to the vacuum left behind following the destruction of the second Death Star and the death of the Emperor. Aftermath is the first book in a trilogy designed to elaborate the lore between the 1983 film and this year’s film.
