Little by little, like the piecing together a frail and fraught cold-case, the tone and tenor of True Detective Season 2 is taking shape.
In the latest trailer from HBO, we see Taylor Kitsch as Paul Woodrugh, a California highway motorcycle patrolman–or perhaps he’s impersonating one; Rachel McAdams as FBI agent Ani Bezzerides, who’s apparently good with a knife; Colin Farrell’s always-brooding Ray Velcoro; and more of Vince Vaughn’s duplicitous — and firebuggy, apparently — Frank Semyon.
