Nick Cannon won’t let anyone utter a bad word about Mariah Carey around him.
The America’s Got Talent star stopped by to chat with Maria Menounos, Andy Cohen, Giuliana Rancic and Ross Mathews during the NBCU Cable Upfront red carpet in New York yesterday afternoon and rushed to the defense of his Grammy-winning ex.
When discussing his upcoming show with Oxygen, currently dubbed The Assistants, Cohen joked about how he imagines people would describe Canon as a boss.
Cohen chided, “I don’t think it’s an easy ride being Nick Cannon’s assistant, but I’ll tell you what, I’d rather be Nick Cannon’s assistant than Mariah Carey’s assistant.”
Things got serious real quick when Cannon gushing about Carey, said, “she’s an amazing mother and I know it and the world knows it.”
