The Oculus Story Studio team has taken the wraps off its second virtual reality storytelling experience.
The animated VR segment called ‘Henry,’ immerses the viewer into a cartoon-like world of wonder..
Directed by Ramiro Lopez Dau, who worked on animated movies including Pixar’s Monsters University, Cars 2 and Brave; the second venture, is proof that Oculus is serious about blending film with virtual reality.
Aided in part by Kendal Cronkhite, a production designer for the Madagascar animated movie series, Lopez Dau’s production leans heavily on his Pixar experience by playing more to children’s tastes aesthetically.
The experience details the forlorn life of a hedgehog that wants to give the world hugs.
