One teen in the Bahamas just took the walking-into-prom game to an entirely new level. Ashvonn Russell competed for the “Best Entrance” award at her prom in Abaco Islands in the northern Bahamas. Yes, that’s a real award. She arrived in an ambulance and wouldn’t “wake up” until her Prince Charming (a.k.a. her prom date) Johnny Auguste kissed her, a la Sleeping Beauty. When photos of her entrance hit Twitter, the fairytale entrance took a twist from happily-ever-after. Some pointed out that the ambulance was being tied up for a dramatic prom entrance when it could have been used to, you know, get people to the hospital.
