Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is seeing his personal investment in the film Begin Again pay off. “Lost Stars,” the song written by Gregg Alexander and Danielle Brisebois and performed by Levine himself in the movie, has earned an Academy Award nomination for best original song. The track is also featured on the soundtrack to Begin Again, which happens to be the first release for 222 Records, Levine’s three-year-old label in partnership with Interscope.
