Another piece of Beatles history has been sold at auction, this time Paul McCartney’s childhood home. The modest Liverpool house where McCartney lived from the age of four until the age of 10 has been sold for $231,000, more than $77,000 more than its guide price as fans of the Fab Four bid up the value. Last October, George Harrison’s childhood home was sold to a Beatles fan for $250,000, while John Lennon’s sold for a princely sum of $770,000 in 2013.
