Peter Capaldi will make his San Diego Comic Con debut during the Doctor Who panel at this year’s event.
Capaldi, who is the twelfth actor to play the Doctor, will be joined by Jenna Coleman, Michelle Gomez, lead writer and executive producer Stephen Moffat, and executive producer Bria Minchin for the Doctor Who panel taking place in Hall H on Thursday, July 9. The actor is currently filming the shows ninth season, which will premiere later in 2015 with the two-part story “The Magician’s Apprentice” and “The Witch’s Familiar.”
