Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) hasn’t had much time to cultivate a love life recently on Pretty Little Liars, but that’s all about to change.
When the ABC Family drama’s fifth season wrapped up in March, the Liars were held captive by the mysterious Charles DiLaurentis, a.k.a. “A,” while Ali had just been released from jail. During Tuesday’s season six premiere, viewers will learn just how much of a toll this has taken on the girls.
“Not only were they kidnapped, but there’s a lot of demons that they have to deal with, and there’s a lot of dark, scary, weird, crazy things that they had to deal with in the dollhouse,” Pieterse tells The Hollywood Reporter.
Pierterse confirmed that Charles is in fact part of the DiLaurentis family, although Ali surprisingly does not know that he exists at the start of the season.
