Prince George has fulfilled a royal rite of passage by appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony on the Queen’s official birthday. It has long been a tradition for royal children to take to the balcony and join in the festivities with the rest of the family following the pomp and pageantry of the Trooping the Colour parade.
