It’s no secret that Hollywood’s slightly majorly obsessed with women’s bodies, but you might be surprised to find out how early the pressure begins for some young girls. On Tuesday’s The View, Raven-Symoné revealed to her co-hosts that “it was definitely hard” growing up in show business and trying to maintain a healthy body image. The former child star, now 29 says, “I remember not being able to have the bagel or anything at [craft services]—we call it crafty—where it’s just a table of food ready for you to eat whenever you want. And I remember people were like, ‘You can’t eat that. You’re getting fat.’ I’m like, ‘I’m 7! I’m hungry!'” The View co-host explained that there was pressure on her not to gain weight “even up until I got to 180 pounds on That’s So Raven.”
