The 39-year-old actress, who can be seen in the new film Hot Pursuit, poked fun at herself after letting one of David Letterman’s jokes fly straight over her head on The Late Show on Tuesday.
Looking gorgeous in a sexy, cleavage-baring, V-neck body-hugging royal blue knee-length sheath dress and strappy silver sandals, paired with plum lipstick, she chatted with him about her 15-year-old daughter Ava. Letterman showed a recent Instagram photo of the two of them that Witherspoon had shared last week. The actress said, “Actually, coincidentally, she was born the first year I was on this show.’ Letterman replied, coughing, “Well that’s an interesting coincidence.”
Witherspoon said after two seconds, waving her hands, “Oh my God, no, no, no!”
