IFC Films has picked up U.S. rights to filmmaker Oren Moverman’s Time Out of Mind, starring Richard Gere as a homeless man on the streets of New York City who is estranged from his daughter.
The movie, which made its world premiere last month at the Toronto Film Festival, is set to hit theaters in 2015, meaning it won’t be a contender in this year’s awards race.
Time Out of Mind also features Ben Vereen, Jena Malone, Kyra Sedgwick and Steve Buscemi.
