Robert De Niro will star opposite Robert Pattinson in Olivier Assayas’ Idol’s Eye, with Michael Benaroya’s Benaroya Pictures coming aboard to finance and produce. Assayas is set to begin shooting the heist action-thriller in October in Chicago and Toronto. Plot details are being kept under wraps. CAA, which arranged financing for the film, will represent domestic rights along with WME. International Film Trust, the foreign sales outfit co-founded by Benaroya, will sell the film internationally.
