At the age of 22, he played Jack Jericho and was romancing none other than The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink’s Molly Ringwald, a fellow member of what was referred to as the Brat Pack of the ’80s, in the 1987 romantic comedy The Pick-Up Artist, which was the first movie to feature Downey in a main role.
