According to a deposition, 37-year-old Robin Thicke has admitted to taking more writing credit than he probably should have for his controversial 2013 hit “Blurred Lines,” in April but just now surfaced in a Los Angeles federal court Monday. Mashable has contacted the court for access to Thicke’s full testimony, dated April 23, as part of a lawsuit Thicke filed in August to protect “Blurred Lines” from singer Marvin Gaye’s family, who claim the song copies Gaye’s “Got to Give It Up.”
