Robin Williams’ last movie, Boulevard, will have its European premiere opening the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival on July 12 in Italy.
In Boulevard, Williams plays a married bank employee whose encounter with a young hustler forces him to face his repressed homosexuality. The film played at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and will be released July 10 in the U.S. The 13th Ischia Global Film and Music Fest takes place July 12-19 off the coast of Naples. The festival’s director says “The first trailer of this movie — recently launched on the web — has touched the hearts of millions of fans who will soon commemorate the first anniversary of Williams’ passing on August 11.”
