A post-mortem examination has revealed Robin Williams was clear of alcohol and illegal drugs when he killed himself. The coroner ruled Williams’ death was suicide resulting from asphyxia due to hanging, though the 63-year-old had taken prescription medication in “therapeutic concentrations”. The actor was found dead in the bedroom of his home in Northern California on August 11.
