Rosamund Pike has joined Jon Hamm in High Wire Act, a political action thriller being directed by Brad Anderson. Tony Gilroy wrote the script for the project, which hails from Radar Pictures. Set in 1980’s Beirut, the story sees Hamm as a former U.S. diplomat who is called back into service to save a former colleague from the group possibly responsible for his own family’s death. Pike will play a CIA field agent working undercover at the American embassy who’s tasked with keeping the diplomat alive and ensuring the mission is a success. The project is aiming for a January 2016 start.
