Rosie Perez is leaving The View …again! That’s right, after ABC shot down rumors about the host’s exit back in January, Perez is indeed leaving the talk show for good in August. Deadline reports that Perez’s last day on the ABC daytime talk show will be this season’s finale on August 6th.
A rep for Perez says, “Rosie wants to thank ABC for their graciousness and their flexibility with her schedule during the Broadway run.” Back in January, Perez took the month off of The View to rehearse for Larry David’s Broadway play Fish in the Dark, and many believed that she would not return to the show. She did return the next month, but only temporarily, as it turns out.
