Ryan Adams paid tribute to Dave Grohl at a recent show with a cover of the Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These.”
While performing at the Sydney Opera House, Adams brought up Grohl’s perseverance at finishing a set in Sweden after breaking his leg mid-show. “He was able to continue doing what he loved even though he was totally broken,” the singer-songwriter said before the sweet cover. Last fall, Adams released a self-titled album that received two Grammy nominations, including Best Rock Album.
