Up until now, we’ve only had a full body shot of sad Batman to kick around the Internet, but Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zach Snyder gives us our first up-close glimpse of actor Ben Affleck in the Batman cowl on Thursday. The image, dropped on Twitter to commemorate Batman’s 75th anniversary and Comic-Con’s kickoff in San Diego, shows a stubbled, grim-faced Affleck.
