Selma Hayek recently had a screening for her animated passion project, “Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet.” After the project, Hayek’s 7 year old daughter Valentina was so moved by the piece, she wrote a beautiful poem about it. Hayek said she was surprised by her reaction and stated “She wrote a poem and it’s about how we are spirits and therefore nothing can contain us or incarcerate us. We are free to play and we never die,”
