Sam Smith has regained his voice after undergoing surgery last month for a vocal cord hemorrhage he suffered during an April show in Sydney. On Twitter, Smith apologized again to his Australian fans for his “bleeding throat.” However, he happily announced that his rescheduled shows — which begin November 28th in Perth — had been upgraded to “bloody arenas.” In a separate Instagram post, Smith also thanked his doctor and wrote, “You truly truly truly don’t know what you’ve got until you lose it.” Earlier this year, Smith garnered several Grammy awards–including Best New Artist, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
