Avatar star Sam Worthington has entered into a conditional dismissal deal in his paparazzo assault case. The 37-year-old Aussie actor did not appear in a Manhattan Criminal Court on April 8, but his attorney Stacey Richman accepted the non-jail deal on Worthington’s behalf. His case had been moved forward from its original date of May 8, and press was not inside the proceeding. Through his attorney, the actor submitted a waiver to the judge explained that he was “contractually committed in Europe at this time,” and thanked the court for working with his schedule.
