Parker also writes about how it “was a huge deal for Carrie, her beloved Sex and the City character to wear an Oscar de la Renta dress” on the show. Parker also wrote about how she fondly remembers de la Renta as “a muscular singer” who “delighted in any opportunity to create a festive environment.”
