Pawnee and Hollywood are in mourning.
According to TMZ, writer and comedian Harris Wittels, who served as one of the executive producers on Parks and Recreation and coined the term “humblebrag,” was found dead at his home on Thursday. A drug overdose is suspected as sources tell TMZ drug paraphernalia was inside the home at the time of his death. Wittels, who also worked on The Sarah Silverman Program, Eastbound and Down and guest starred on Comedy Bang Bang, spoke about his drug addiction past last November in a podcast. The 30-year-old’s last public appearance was Wednesday, when he performed stand-up at a Los Angeles comedy theater.
