After much anticipation, Batman #40 hits shelves this week and proves to be worth the wait. It is a fantastic conclusion to both “Endgame” and all of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo’s run on Batman. In an interview with Comicbook.com, Snyder said, “I was very nervous about this one for a long time. I tried to put lots of extra effort into it. Even with the word play and all sorts of small stuff, like how the Joker is constantly referencing mortality, tragedy, and all sorts of ideas.
