After last week’s bloody, penultimate episode of Sons of Anarchy , it’s looking like things are going to go the way of Breaking Bad during the FX biker drama’s series finale tonight. That means Jax (Charlie Hunnam), is totally going to die.
Not only has Jax just murdered his own mother, Gemma (Katey Sagal), in revenge for killing his wife, Tara (Maggie Siff), but he also murdered his pseudo-father figure Unser (Dayton Callie) because he wouldn’t leave Jax alone with Gemma. It’s fascinating that it’s taken this long for us, the viewers, to accept and even hope that Jax Teller won’t make it to the end of the series alive, when for the past seven seasons we’ve rooted for him to succeed and survive no matter how many people he killed. But hey, that’s just the genius of executive producer Kurt Sutter.
