Pop singer Sia recreated the dramatic dance moves from her controversial “Elastic Heart” music video — minus Shia LaBeouf — on the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live.
Sia stood upstage throughout her entire performance, while wearing a small black veil over half of her face while she sang. The spotlight instead focused on two dancers: Maddie Ziegler, who starred in the music video for “Elastic Heart,” and a similarly dressed, older doppelganger in place of LaBeouf.
Sia performed that song on SNL, but rather than bring out Ziegler again, she opted to turn down the tempo. This time, Sia — again wearing the black veil — was accompanied by a sad mime acting out portions of “Chandelier.”
