The 1975 lead singer finally has opened up to set the record straight about their apparent relationship. In an interview with national radio show Shazam Top 20 on the 2Day FM network, the British rocker Matt Healy laughed off the claims from so-called insiders. Healy didn’t mince words: He said, “It’s fake. It’s all bloody fake. Yeah, we met each other, we exchanged numbers in the same way that a lot of people in this kind of world do and we spoke occasionally. She’s the biggest pop star in the world and I’m in Australia. There’s no like, relationship or anything happening. It’s just funny how people really, really buy into that.”
