More than a year ago it was out there that LeBron James was Warner Bros.’ No. 1 choice to star in Space Jam 2, the follow-up to the 1996 blockbuster and animation-live-action hybrid classic Space Jam—which of course starred the inimitable Michael Jordan. Well, today Warner Bros. Entertainment announced a new TV-film-digital production deal with James, who pretty much stole every scene he’s in in Trainwreck—a delightful surprise, perhaps, that helped bring this new deal to fruition.
