In the wake of their new deal, Marvel and Sony are moving quickly on relaunching the Spider-Man franchise. The studio is interested in bringing Drew Goddard onboard to write and direct the upcoming film. Sources say Sony is in the early stages with this, and that Goddard is expected to meet with studio execs this week, but there is strong interest from both sides.
