The cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens graces the cover of Vanity Fair’s June 2015 issue. The old-meets-new cover photo, shot by Annie Leibovitz, features Chewbacca, Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Daisy Ridley (Rey) and John Boyega (Finn). That’s not all, though: Vanity Fair also has photos of Adam Driver as Kylo Ren and Lupita Nyong’o as Maz Kanata!
Director J.J. Abrams was admittedly surprised by how eager Ford way to reprise his role. The actor “was excited to get back in those shoes again,” said Abrams, “which was really interesting because I thought he hadn’t been a fan. I kept hearing those rumors when I was a kid.”
