After nearly two weeks of speculation about those characters in the widely-seen teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy dropped the names of those characters in the most perfect way possible: via faux Topps bubble-gum cards. John Boyega’s Stormtrooper, who is rumored to be the movie’s lead character, is Finn. That now-famous soccer ball droid with the Artoo-like head is BB-8. Daisy Ridley’s desert planet speeder driver, the movie’s female lead, so far as anyone knows, is Rey. As for that mysterious Sith-like figure igniting his lightsaber in a forest, he’s not a Sith at all, at least, not one with a traditional “Darth” title. He’s called Kylo Ren.
