Stephen Colbert’s talk show hosting skills have been getting a little rusty since The Colbert Report ended in December. So the future Late Show host decided to take over Only in Monroe for the Monroe Public Access Cable Network in Monroe, Michigan. While in town, Colbert also checked out the local talent and interviewed a Michigan-born rapper named Eminem. Colbert gives the up-and-comer some poorly-received advice about preparing for retirement, but the pair make a slick duo when they shared upcoming happenings around Monroe together. The whole show is just over 40 minutes, which is a long time to state vague facts to try and seem like you know a lot about Michigan.
