Before premiering his run of The Late Show, new host Stephen Colbert has already made great use of the show’s YouTube channel. After posting a few topical, hilarious clips, the former Colbert Report host has debuted a “daily, week-long” series titled Lunch With Stephen.
“I want to get to know my audience just a little bit better,” the comedian said after attempting to take a duck face selfie. In the next scene of the short video, Colbert is sitting in a cubicle excitedly opening his name-labeled brown bag lunch. Previously, Colbert published videos on the channel showing the host shaving off his beard, discussing Pluto with Neil deGrasse Tyson and mocking dissenting Supreme Court justices following the historic decision regarding marriage equality. The Late Show With Stephen Colbert will premiere on September 8th.
