“Steve Jobs,” the drama starring Michael Fassbender, will screen as the centerpiece feature at the New York Film Festival on Oct. 3, according to an announcement from the Film Society of Lincoln Center.
The film, directed by Danny Boyle and written by Aaron Sorkin (based on the best-selling Walter Isaacson biography), is considered to be one of this fall’s major Oscar contenders. It co-stars Kate Winslet and Seth Rogen (as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak).
But the pic is also rumored to be playing at the Toronto Film Festival in September.
