SundanceTV is committed to Rectify. The series will return in 2016 with a yet-to-be-determined number of episodes. Rectify has had such a huge impact in establishing SundanceTV as a home for high-quality, intelligent drama. However, Rectify has been a very slow burn for Sundance. Despite strong critical favor, its sophomore run in 2014 averaged a mere 308,000 viewers — and that was after seven days of DVR. The series follows Aden Young as Daniel Holden, a man who returns to his small Georgia hometown after two decades on death row.
