The typical results of zero-gravity cooking tend to be, well, pretty gross. But now, European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti has posted a video of a space taco even Earthlings could drool over. Tortillas are the carbohydrate of choice on the International Space Station, where the crumbly nature of bread can be a hazard without gravity. Cristoforetti loaded hers up with leek cream, tomatoes, quinoa and mackerel — truly a gourmet meal for astronauts more accustomed to freeze-dried beef patties and fluorescent orange cheese sauce.
