She shared the news about her mother Andrea in an emotional Tumblr post, saying: “Thank you for caring about my family so much that she would want me to share this information with you. I hope and pray that you never get news like this.” Swift had urged her Mum to get a checkup at Christmas, despite there being no signs of illness, just for peace of mind.
