Marking the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo; where Europe FINALLY beat Napoleon Bonaparte, people all over Europe found it to be an opportune moment in dressing up like it was 1812 again.
This included re-enactments covering the various moments of the battle to when Britain received news that it had defeated Napoleon at Waterloo.
From horse-drawn carriages to replica regiments travelled through through the streets of both European towns and great cities on Sunday to re-enact those olden days, that are far enough way to get dressed up and romanticize such past times.
