Jill Soloway, creator of the award-winning Amazon Studios show Transparent, in which Jeffrey Tambor stars as a transgender woman who reveals her true identity to her grown children, says she has spoken to Caitlyn Jenner and Kim Kardashian about the show.
Soloway was inspired to create Transparent following her own father’s recent transition to a woman, and it seems her experience has hit home for the Kardashians and Jenners, too.
Soloway explained, “The lived lives of trans people are what’s changing the world, and changing the world for Caitlyn. But I spoke to Caitlyn, and she told me that she saw the show; and I talked to Kim Kardashian, and she told me they all watched it together.”
