Video · 'The O.C.' is Getting Made Into the Musical it Deserves

Now that The O.C. audience has grown from television-obsessed teens into Netflix bing-watching professionals, a musical reboot was almost inevitable.
The event will be directed by Jordan Ross and produced by Lindsey Rosin, according to Variety, the same duo who recently put on Cruel Intentions:The Musical. Although the show wasn’t a musical, the soundtrack element was important and it was critical in launching indie music into the mainstream, helping bands like Death Cab for Cutie, Rooney and Phantom Planet.
