Julie Andrews and several members of the cast of The Sound of Music had a heartwarming reunion on Thursday at the 2015 TCM Classic Film Festival in Hollywood, where they celebrated the 50th anniversary of the 1965 musical movie, arguably America’s favorite family film.
The 79-year-old actress, who played Maria in what is considered her most famous role, talked to E! News about the movie as well as about Lady Gaga’s epic performance of a medley of songs from the film at the 2015 Oscars. She said the reunion brought back fond memories. She was joined at the reunion by co-star Christopher Plummer. The two could not be more adorable together, getting cozy while posing for pictures and smiling at each other.
