It’s no secret that anything involving food is the way to Taylor Swift’s heart, so you shouldn’t be surprised to learn that the beginning of her friendship with Lorde involved one of the most delicious things New York City has to offer. On Tuesday, Lorde dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and shared a little story of her first time meeting the “Shake It Off” singer. According to Lorde, Taylor made the first move by sending the former some flowers. Then they went to Shake Shack in New York City, bonded over “thick-ass milkshakes” and the rest of course is ancient history.
