Kim Dickens will battle zombies in The Walking Dead companion series, E! News has confirmed. The Gone Girl star will play a guidance counselor in the untitled spinoff set in Los Angeles.
The Walking Dead companion series picks up right at the start of the zombie apocalypse and also stars Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey. According to Deadline, Curtis will play a divorced teacher and beau to Dickens’ character. Dillane and Carey play her two kids from a previous relationship. And it wouldn’t be a cable series without a character with a troubled past—expect some secrets to come back and haunt Dickens’ character.
