Move over, Chris Pratt: there’s a new superhero in town, and he’s coming after your Marvel character! The newest actor to take on a major Marvel role is none other than Boy Meets World fan favorite alum Will Friedle — who most recently provided the voice for “Deadpool” on The Ultimate Spider-Man animated series! E-News has learned that Friedle has just joined the voice cast for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, the new animated series premiering on Disney XD in 2015. So who is Friedle playing on the animated series? Get ready for some friendly rivalry between Friedle and Pratt, because the Boy Meets World alum is taking on the role Pratt previously starred as in the major blockbuster movie version of the comic book—Star-Lord!
